ClearSpec Technical Writing Checker
- ClearSpec uses an independent proprietary clarity method. It is not affiliated with ASD/STEMG, is not an ASD-STE100 checker or certification service, and does not certify ISO 24495-1 conformance.
- The clarity indicator from method version 1.0.0 is an automated heuristic. It does not establish technical accuracy, usability, legal sufficiency, safety or standards conformance.
- It does not decide whether a warning is adequate. It reports a missing structural part and recommends a safety-language review by a competent person.
- It does not rewrite text, and it never generates replacement safety wording.
- Rules produce false positives by design; every finding carries a note on when it can be wrong.
- DOCX opening is local and does not interpret layout, images, tables or cross-references. PDF input is not offered.
- No accuracy percentage, user count, certification badge or testimonial is claimed anywhere in the product.
